For the past 10 years are current and prior members have done much to promote the sport around the country. On Friday 18 Players participated in organized play
On June 8-9 Palm Creek pickleball players were
showing off their skills at the third annual Pickleball tournament in Victoria.
The venue was excellent at Pearkes Recreation Centre in Victoria-Saanich, BC. On
Saturday was the men's and women's doubles. Winners in Women's doubles was Theresa
Curt, men's doubles winners were Dan Jmaeff and Maurice Parobec. In Sunday's
mixed doubles Rosemary Nichol and Bob Sester won the over 65 event and Theresa
Orcutt and Maurice Parobec won the open category. Congratulations to:
The down side of no longer being Secretary is that I can no longer send "Blaster e-mails" to the entire club. I have to ask Suzie Nunley, our new Secretary to do it for me.
Our Tournament season kicks off every year in St. George with the Huntsman World Senior Games, registration closed a month ago. I have yet to hear from many of you, if you plan on attending this year. If you will be in St. George during the games, please e-mail me, so that I can put you on the contact list. Each year we plan group activities that add to the fun of attending the tournament.
