The new Court Play Schedule has been linked under Menu, this schedule becomes effective on 1/15/2010
Who are you now?
Novice 2.5
"C" 3.0
"B" 3.5
"A" 4.0
Do you want more details on these ratings?
The Link under menu that says "Skill Level Definitions", is really helpful
So what has changed?
Couples on Sunday will now sign up for the round robin that best suits their schedule, not by skill level
Evening Round Robins because of the great turn out have been increased from 19 to 27 players
All the other previously scheduled events remain the same, except the time and day may have changed
So what is new?
4 Rated Round Robins have been added to the schedule. You can only play in these events if you are a "USAPA member" in good standing and have a USAPA rating of 3.5, 4.0 or higher.
So you think you want to join the 57 current rated players that are in good standing?
Step 1 .Consider this if only after reading the "Skill Level Definitions", you think that you are currently playing at a minimum level of 3.5
Step 2. If you are not already a member join the USAPA- e-mail RosemaryReese@aol.com
Step 3. USAPA member in good standing, e-mail Leroy Schmidt at Schmidtb@bresnan.net, LeRoy will only take written request. LeRoy will contact you and set up the process. Once you are given a "final rating" this will become your "USAPA" rating for tournaments
Not ready for an "official rating" but would like to have your skill level evaluated?
Once again contact LeRoy Schmidtb@bresnan.net and he will set up a "real" evaluation. Being told by another player on the court where you should play, is causing a lot of confusion, if you are unsure stop the insanity and be evaluated
There will be a lot more to come - so keep checking the Blog
